Privacy

What personal information the Europe-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under the GDPR.

Who is responsible

The Europe-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EUICCI), Paris, France, is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at contact@euicci.com.

This website

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, how you arrived). It only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. See Cookies for details.

When you open the chat window or send the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person and not a bot. Cloudflare sees technical details from your browser (such as IP address and browser type) for this check only, and does not use them for advertising.

We don't use advertising trackers, social media pixels or embedded videos. Fonts are served from our own server. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running, for a short period.

Contact form and email

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the type of enquiry, your country if you give it, and your message. Form messages are delivered to our mailbox through our email delivery provider, Resend, which processes them on our behalf. We use this only to answer you and, where you agree, make introductions.

WhatsApp conversations

When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to share: your name, phone number, profile information and the content of your messages. We use this only to answer your questions, give guidance and, where you agree, make introductions.

WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy. Messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit.

We process your information on the basis of your request (to answer you) and our legitimate interest in running the chamber. Where we introduce you to a third party, we ask for your agreement first.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share your details with an employer, a recruitment partner or a business contact only after you agree, and only what is needed for that introduction.

How long we keep it

We keep conversations and emails for as long as they are useful to help you, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or ask us to limit it. See your data and the GDPR for how to make a request. Send your request to contact@euicci.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Please do not overshare

Do not send passport scans, bank details or health information in a first message. We will tell you if and when any document is needed and why.
