About the Europe-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry
What is the Europe-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry?
A chamber based in Paris and active in Brussels. It helps skilled Indian professionals build careers in Europe, Indian companies enter the European market, and European companies grow in India. We publish practical guides, answer questions on WhatsApp and by email, and introduce people to the right contacts when we know them.
How can I contact you?
On WhatsApp, with the button at the bottom of every page, by email at hello@euicci.com, or through the contact form. WhatsApp is usually the fastest.
Will you ask me for money for a job?
Never. We do not sell jobs or visas. If anyone using our name asks you to pay for a job, do not pay and tell us on WhatsApp.
For Indian professionals
Can you get me a job in Europe?
We cannot promise a job, and nobody honest can. We explain which routes fit your profile, help you prepare, and where your profile matches a real need, introduce you to employers or licensed recruitment partners.
Do I need to speak the local language?
It depends on the country and the job. Many IT and engineering roles in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal and the Nordic countries work in English. Healthcare, hospitality and skilled trades almost always need the local language, often at B1 or B2 level. See our guide to language levels.
Which country is easiest for Indians?
There is no single answer. Germany has the most structured routes for skilled workers and nurses. The Netherlands suits English-speaking tech people, and Spain and Portugal have growing tech hubs in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon and Porto. Italy runs annual quotas, including for seasonal and care work. Our country guides compare the main options.
Someone offered me a job if I pay first. Is that normal?
No. Do not pay for a job. Read how to spot a fake overseas job offer.
For European professionals
Can I work in India on a business visa?
No. A business visa covers meetings, negotiations and site visits. If you will be employed and paid by an Indian entity, you need an employment visa.
Is there a minimum salary for working in India?
Yes. The employment visa generally requires a salary of at least USD 25,000 a year, with a few narrow exceptions. Check the latest rules with the Indian mission in your country.
For employers and companies
Can you send us workers?
